Auto Run Macro in Excel 07

I have an Excel 03 file that I'm opening in Excel 07. The file has a macro that runs upon opening. I need users to be able to open the file in 07 without the macro running. Holding the shift key upon opening prevents the macro from running in 03, but not 07. Any ideas? FYI, we do have users with 03 and 07 versions.

How to change case of text in Excel?
Use =UPPER() for upper case, =LOWER() for lower case, and =PROPER() for proper case. PROPER won't capitalize second c in Mccartney
Just tried it again and it still didn't work. I'm wondering if it has something to do with the security settings or possibly I don't have the file path of the file listed as a trusted site.

In the comments Jan Karel says:

It appears there is a bug in Excel 2007, where in these circumstances the shift key does NOT work to prevent auto macros from running:

- File is in a trusted folder
- Folder is on a network

Is that your scenario?
