I currently have a DB that generates branch specific reports for each of our companies branches around the country. I will be creating other reports that i will need to send out on a daily basis to pre-set groups of people. I have the reports set up in a SendObject Macro, that does a good job getting the process done. My question is: is there a way to put that on a timer or a clock to have them send at a certain time every day?

thanks for the help

When did Power Query debut in Excel?
Although it was an add-in in Excel 2010 & Excel 2013, Power Query became a part of Excel in 2016, in Data, Get & Transform Data.
Are you familiar with splitting databases into back-ends and front-ends (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/304932)?
Basically, they back end has all your data, and the front-end has all your queries, forms, reports, etc. There are many reasons why you would want to do this (stability is the biggest one).

In any event, how this pertains to you is that you can have multiple different front-end databases that are used for different tasks or for different user groups. Here is how I would approach your problem. Create a front-end database that links to your back-end data and creates the reports that you need. Then, run these reports using an AutoExec macro (just create a macro that runs these reports and name it AutoExec). Any macro named AutoExec will run automatically upon opening it (as long as Macros are enabled or it is in a Trusted Location). I would also add a line in the Macro to close the database when complete.

Then all you have to do is have a scheduler (like Windows Scheduler) open this database on the days/times that you want, and it will automatically create the reports and close itself.
