I have 2 columns, 4 cells deep. The initial values are input into the first 3 cells of column 1. The result of Column 2 is column one multiplied by 1.102311. The results in column 2 are rounded off, with no decimal places (which they have to be). Cell 4 in each column is an autosum of its column. When I autosum column 2, sometimes the result of the sum does not look correct due to the rounding off of the numbers in column 2. So after I input values in column 1, I have to manually add the values; now shown in column 2, to make sure that the result of the autosum of column 2 is correct. I am looking for a way to avoid having to manually verify this result and have the rounded off values autosum rather than the full results in column 2 (including the decimal places). Not sure if this can be done, but then again I would not be suprised if it could, in Excel. The below example is a recent occurrence of this. If you add the last digit in each of the first 3 cells in column 2, you should get 15. However due to the rounding off the result is actually 14.
Thanks everyone in advance.
