autofilter in shared password protected sheet

Hi,

I have a share work book in which a particular cells has been password protected, i am unable to use the auto filter option in that sheet.
Kindly advice.

Hi,

When you protect the sheet ensure that "Use Autofilter" is selected:

Tools -> Protection -> Protect Sheet -> Scroll down to "Use Autofilter".

Make sure you have Autofilter applied prior to applying the sheet protection too
