Automate internet explorer using excel VBA

Hi guys,
is it possible to automate IE using excel vba to perform the following steps:
1. open a web page.
2. enter the password. "i need to enter the PW only,the user name already there" and press login.
3. double click on the one link.
4. enter the date parameters in a popup form (from-to) and press ok
5. export the report to excel file.

Appreciate your support to provide sample code to do that.
