Hello.. I have a spreadsheet that contains information that I have to make into labels. Currently I save from one sheet to another only the info i need on the labels... Part, Qty, PO, Job, Customer Name.
Open Word, mail merge and so on.

I would like to automate this from Excel. The report is an Open Orders Report. I need to, with vba, filter the "Order Date" column to only show the orders processed "yesterday" and am hoping I can also have a sub routine that will open word and set up the mail merge automatically as it it a tedious task doing it manually every day.

Is this possible?

Excel Can Read to You
Customize Quick Access Toolbar. From All Commands, add Speak Cells or Speak Cells on Enter to QAT. Select cells. Press Speak Cells.
I am doing same thing, I believe I can solve it but it is complicated.
Let me consider it your question .
1) you have any database at Excel file
2) you need to take data from excel sorted by assigned date, and
3) the Data will convert to winword as assigned Label format for print out, right ?

yes... i would only want yesterday's date or today's date (minus) 1 to show and print labels with that information. I can build a subroutine to format the sheet to only contain the columns i will need but i do not know how to tell it to filter "only this date". The label will contain (column headers) Part#, Qty, PO#, Job#, Customer. I am thinking once it filters by date i would need to do a copy (just the visible information) and paste into another spreadsheet and then format to only the columns needed for the labels. wheew....that makes my brain hurt.
