Hi,

I have a worksheet with thousands of sets of data on it, being different drivers filling up with fuel. I need to take out the last fill up for every driver, but to go through and do this manually will take a very long time. Each driver has a unique identifier. Does anyone know a way where I could do this much faster?

Thanks
Amy

Select the data and press Alt+F1 to insert a default chart. You can change the default chart to any chart type
amzloux,

Welcome to the MrExcel forum.

1. What version of Excel and Windows are you using?

2. Are you using a PC or a Mac?

Probably, but, we would have to see a screenshot of the raw data, and, a screenshot of the results (manually formatted by you) that you are looking for.

Can you post a screenshot of the actual raw data worksheet?

And, can you post a screenshot of the worksheet results (manually formatted by you) that you are looking for?

To post your data, you can download and install one of the following two programs:
1. MrExcel HTMLMaker20101230
https://onedrive.live.com/?cid=8cffdec0ce27e813&sc=documents&id=8CFFDEC0CE27E813!189

If you are not able to give us screenshots:
You can upload your workbook to Box Net,
sensitive data changed
mark the workbook for sharing
and provide us with a link to your workbook.

Hi hiker95, thank you for your response

amzloux,

1. What version of Excel and Windows are you using?.

I'm using Microsoft Excel 2010

Are you using a PC or a Mac?.

I'm Using a PC

Unfortunately I cannot post a screenshot as the data I am using is confidential as it is for work. I have the date and time of each transaction, and each driver has a unique identifier. I need to remove the last fill up the driver did from the raw data, so that I can then put manipulate the data to get the results requested by the customer

For that it's worth, if you have questions and it involves confidential data, you should come up with a strategy for blinding the confidential part. Often times, replacing the confidential stuff with a single unique letter allows you to give both representative data as well as a bit of a key to translate back to your original data.

amzloux,

In order to get it right the first time:

I need to see at least samples that are close, with titles, before, and, after a macro.

Can you post screenshots of the sample raw data worksheets?

And, can you post a screenshot of the worksheet results (manually formatted by you) that you are looking for?
