Automatic Fill

I have a spreadsheet that a former colleague did that will automatically highlight a range and cannot figure out how this is occurring so I can replicate elsewhere.

For example if I have:

87.6 88.8 89.4 90.0 90.5 91.0 91.5 in Row 1 columns A-G respectively then in cell F1 if I drop in 90.3 then Columns A-D will automatically highlight (fill) with a color.

Obviously, there is something imbedded that is saying that if less than F1 then highlight but I cannot find it.

Does anyone have an answer?

Thanks

Excel Facts

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.

Either conditional formatting or a macro. Select one of the cells that are highlighting and go to Format|Conditional formatting. If there is a format applied to that cell, you should see it there. For macros, you'll have to open the Visual Basic Editor and take a look.

I had already checked the macros so knew that wasn't it but when I checked the conditional formatting that was it.

Thanks
