I use Excel often but never had chance to learn VBA, so I would like to ask this board for assistance.

I work in Japan and normally deal with JPY value where there is no decimal points.
Some of the invoice/sales values are in USD, and will have decimal points.

If possible, I would like to find out a way for Excel to automatically format the cell if the input is (for example) 105.45 to "$ Currency Format" -> $105.45.

If the input is only 105, then the cell will keep format as 105 (no decimals).

I am not sure if this is possible or not. If anyone knows of a solution, please let me know.

Thank you!

Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.
Just use conditional formatting
you only have to do it once.

Select the range, click conditional formatting, click new rule, under select a rule type click
Format only cells that contain, click in the box that says between, select does not equal to,
next box type 105 then click format, click currency, click OK.
