Is there an easy way to automatically expand a cell to fit a number of lines of text? A number of cells have been merged in the row to fit the text, however, if it is longer than one row, it is hidden and you have to manually move the row down to see the text. I want it to happen automatically!

Try this
Code:
Private Sub Worksheet_Change(ByVal Target As Range)
    ActRow = Target.Row
    ActCol = Target.Column
oldWidth = Cells(ActRow, ActCol).ColumnWidth
newWidth = Len(Cells(ActRow, ActCol).Value)
    If newWidth > oldWidth Then
        Cells(ActRow, ActCol).ColumnWidth = newWidth + 1
    End If
End Sub
