I would like to assign a sequential number to an Excel spreadsheet when a template is opened up and used. I would like to transfer the sequential number generated to a log spreadsheet so I can track the progress of each master template that is opened up and used a working Excel spreadsheet. I need to try to do this because I have created a templete for people to use for requisistions but I want to pre number these requisitions when they are opened and used and log these on a separate spreadsheet so I can reconcile to the invoice that is received from the supplier.

Thanks

Add Bullets to Range
Select range. Press Ctrl+1. On Number tab, choose Custom. Type Alt+7 then space then @ sign (using 7 on numeric keypad)
