Automatically Opening New Workbooks from Existing Ones

I am working with a three-page workbook. When I click on the separate sheets, they open in an entirely new, unsaved workbook. For example, the sheets are labelled London, New York, and Paris. I will click on the Paris sheet and it will open as an untitled workbook with the complete Paris sheet.

I apologize if this is extremely elementary, but it is seriously delaying my progress!

Excel Facts

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.
Hi

Welcome to the board

Is this something you are attempting to achieve or is it something thats happening that wish to stop?

Regards

I personally am not aware of a setting that would do this but there might be some VB code causing your issue.

Press Alt and F11 to open the VB editor.
On the left of the screen find the project you refer to and click it to open it.
Now you will see a list of Sheets and ThisWorkbook and perhaps some Modules
Go through each one to see if there is any thing starting

Private Sub Sheet_Activate or Workbook_Sheetactivate

Be careful not to wade in and delete everything if there is a lot of code, if you need help post back
