Automation error Exception occured - VBA

I have been writing VBA for years and never had this issue. Code that has worked for months, without issues, now intermittently throws up an "Automation Error Exception Occurred" window and Freezes/Closes Excel (after many clicks of buttons to stop/shutdown Excel, by me)
This only happens when I launch a Macro from the Developer/Macros window (which has always worked in the past). The only way to run my code after this happening, is to open the VBA Editor and THEN Opening the Macro window and launching it. Of course, I could run it straight from the Editor, as well.

The Code executes fine, after using the above "work-around". Any ideas?

How to change case of text in Excel?
Use =UPPER() for upper case, =LOWER() for lower case, and =PROPER() for proper case. PROPER won't capitalize second c in Mccartney
A little more information....the VBA code is in a local module (contained in the workbook from which I am executing it.) rather than my Personal workbook. The code I execute from the "Personal" workbook doesn't exhibit this behavior.
