Hi All,

I have faced an annoying problem with ActiveX Control. I have an ActiveX combo box and a table that is linked to an External data at the same sheet.

I have an Workbook_Open event to update the data and to do some other stuff. Usually it is working just fine but sometimes I am getting an error:'

Code:
Run-time error '-2147417848 (80010108)

Automation error
The object invoked has disconnected from its client

the line where the code ends is below:

Code:
 Selection.ListObject.QueryTable.Refresh BackgroundQuery:=False

The weird thing is that if I update the table manually by right-click->refresh and try to run the macro after that everything is working just fine.

I have a similar file without the ActiveX Combo box and its always working ok.

Any ideas what might cause this inconsistent behaviour..?

Br,
Jaakko
