Hello all,

I have a project i'm using that updates two spreadsheets that have similar information but in different orders. Anyways one log is a macro-enabled log and the other is a plane .xlxs. Anyways here is the situation, the ordinary log at one time had embedded data links to some type of old software that isn't really used anymore. The issue is that i can't update these links so the process is when you open the file, you select Don't Update on pop up warning that data link doesn't work.

Anyways I've written code that take information from the new log and checks the old log and updates both accordingly. My problem is that i get an error because of the pop up. How do i either bypass the pop up to make changes or how do i have the program select "Don't Update" if the option comes up.

VBA Code:
Application.DisplayAlerts = False
'Run your code here
Application.DisplayAlerts = True

This will turn off the alerts and then remember to turn them back on after your code has ran.

You could also use
VBA Code:
On Error Resume Next

Which will just ignore any errors and resume the next line of code
