Can the autoshapes that you draw using the "Autoshapes -> Lines -> Freeform" tool accept mouseclicks or detect when the mouse is over them like the images you draw using the control toolbox toolbar? If not, is there any way to force this through VBA?

Right Click the autoshape and select Assign Macro. Then select the macro you want to run.
