Average stock price

Dear all,

I'm struggeling with calculating how many extra stocks i should buy in order to achieve a certain average purchaseprice. Admitted i could just do some row to figure out but i turned into a bit of a quest to solve the problem and sofar i've been unable to create a beautful solution. Can you help me?

Excel Facts

Pivot Table Drill Down
Double-click any number in a pivot table to create a new report showing all detail rows that make up that number
Assuming the 900 is in A2 the put this equation in A3

Excel Formula:
=A2*((B4-B2)/(B3-B4))
