Averageif

Hello

I have the following sumif formula

=sumIF('US Southeast'!$C$8:$C$28,Calculations!$E$4,INDEX('US Southeast'!$E$8:$BE$28,0,MATCH($G4,'US Southeast'!$E$5:$BE$5,0)))

so i figured for the average, ill do

=AVERAGEIF('US Southeast'!$C$8:$C$28,Calculations!$E$4,INDEX('US Southeast'!$E$8:$BE$28,0,MATCH($G4,'US Southeast'!$E$5:$BE$5,0)))

issue:
its giving me the same answer as the SUMIF.....is there something not being done right? can some1 pls help thx u

its giving me the same answer as the SUMIF.....is there something not being done right? can some1 pls help thx u

If there is only one row that meets all the criteria then it is possible for the AVERAGE to be the same as the SUM.
