*NO VBA Please!!*
*Looking to carry down the formula to many cells after it in the average column

The formula below is what I have so far. I need to EXCLUDE the red font from the calculations. With my current formula, it is still including it since it's =*red*, I've tried <>*red but when I pull the formula down to the next row where all numbers in Columns N, T and Y are black, it is still excluding Y in the average.

Help? :(

Column NColumn TColumn YAverage
$14.23$14.80$17.10

=IF(OR(N7="",N7="*red*"),AVERAGE(Y7,T7),IF(OR(T7="",T7="*red*"),AVERAGE(N7,Y7),IF(OR(Y7="",Y7="*red*"),AVERAGE(N7,T7),AVERAGE(N7,T7,Y7))))

Excel Facts

Does the VLOOKUP table have to be sorted?
No! when you are using an exact match, the VLOOKUP table can be in any order. Best-selling items at the top is actually the best.
Formulae cannot "see" formats. Are the red numbers actually negative numbers formatted to show in red?

You can't do this with formula.
N7="*red*" cannot be used for font color.
With VBA is possible.
