How do I add a barcode to a cell? In particlar I'm trying to have a cell say E7 with a prod ID and I want cell F7 to reflect this info as a barcode, and have the ability to change the ID number with the change also reflected in the F7 barcode!

Why can't spreadsheets drive cars? They crash too often!
Sorry, but what I was looking for was a step by step process to do this! I have no clue on doing the barcode setup let alone the tying the code to a cell reference!
thanks

If you're creating your own barcodes; it should be simple. Once you install the appropriate font, format column F with the barcode font then enter "=E7" in F7.

No I don't, I'm developing a spreadsheet for purpose of doing stackups for the PCB mfr Industries and I thought adding a barcode for the prod ID would be a plus! Oh and the spreedsheet is going to be distributed freely as a shareware type function.
