Hello guys!

As seen from the description my question will be related to barcodes. I saw that basically generating a barcode takes only a specific font. However, from all of the examples I saw all of the generated barcodes were for only one specific product. My question is how I can generate, at first unique product number for let’s say 1000 or more units of the same product and secondly generate unique barcode for each unit of the same units?

That being said, afterwards I would like to allocate each barcode to an existing physical product, which as far as I know is done via scanner.

But as of now do you think that the above written is actually possible?

Thank you in advance for your help!

Would be much appreciated! :)

Excel Facts

Using Function Arguments with nested formulas
If writing INDEX in Func. Arguments, type MATCH(. Use the mouse to click inside MATCH in the formula bar. Dialog switches to MATCH.
you have a table with the products & code:
1234, soap
4532, towel
9876, toaster

the font is used to show the code, 1234, in a barcode format. ( for paper or screen)
the scanner scans it and outputs : 1234

you can then have code lookup 1234 in the table to show what product it is.

or the app can be set to just capture the codes: scan barcode, it saves to CODE column in the table.
