Hi
My aim is to stop scroll in excel. I have never used macro or VBA. I have read and watch tutorials but no success. could someone give me basic step by step instructions form the start. like do you even need macro recorder on to write a VBA?

The area I want to not scoll past "A1:AV114".

Thanks

Excel Facts

Select all contiguous cells
Pressing Ctrl+* (asterisk) will select the "current region" - all contiguous cells in all directions.
Do Alt+F11 to open the VBE.

Do Ctrl+R to open the Project Explorer window if it's not already open. In that window, look for the VBA project for your workbook, expand the treeview, find Microsoft Excel Objects, and select the sheet of interest.

Press F4 if the Properties window isn't visible.

In Scroll area, enter A1:AV114

Do Alt+Q to return to Excel
