I have a basic sum but the cell gives me the wrong answer.

M26 * J18= p26
95 * 35 = 3600 but it should be 3610.

m26 has its own formular in it so i pasted m26 anserw into a nother cell. but I still get the wrong anserw.

if I type 95 and 38 into empty cells on a nother part of the sheet and do the sum into p26 it works
I have also formated the cells to numbers so there all the same and made the columns and rows spaces the same

Whats going on?

Excel Facts

Bring active cell back into view
Start at A1 and select to A9999 while writing a formula, you can't see A1 anymore. Press Ctrl+Backspace to bring active cell into view.
m26 has its own formular in it so i pasted m26 anserw into a nother cell. but I still get the wrong anserw.

Is the value in M26 calculating a decimal value? It may display as a whole number, but may actually calculate to a decimal answer.

Try Int(M26) * Int(J18) = P26

Also, according to my calculator 95 * 35 = 3325.

If M26 is a calculated value then it may not be exactly 95. Formatting only changes the way the number is displayed. It has no effect on the true value of the cell. For example, you may format the cell to display as 95 but its true underlying value may be something like 94.89731589

Maybe you need to add some rounding to the formula in M26. How do you want it to be rounded? If you want it rounded to the neasest whole number then:

=ROUND(your_formula_here,0)
