Hey,

I am using some code to extract data from tables within Word.docx and for some reason when I extract the data it inserts a black dot followed by some spaces. I am just wondering if there is any way to exclude this from the import.

I have a screenshot below with the results as well as my code.

Thanks!

How to change case of text in Excel?
Use =UPPER() for upper case, =LOWER() for lower case, and =PROPER() for proper case. PROPER won't capitalize second c in Mccartney
All table cells in word have a non-printing character that marks the end of the cell and is used for some other things.

When you import into Excel do:

x=left(x,len(x)-1) to get rid of it
