Here's one that has me baffled.:banghead:

I've been given a worksheet with data laid out like that in a pivot table. (It's an extract from an SAP database) I want to fill-down the blank cells so a pivot table or filtering can be run against it.

Here's the problem.... the cells below the column labels that appear to be blank aren't. When I use the "Cell Type" function they are identified as "I" for label.

Specifically, columns A & B have the data that needs to be filled-down until the next non-blank. I know how to do this if the cells below the labels were blank. However, since the "blank" cells aren't truely blank, I'm stuck. Help anyone??

Excel Facts

How to total the visible cells?
From the first blank cell below a filtered data set, press Alt+=. Instead of SUM, you will get SUBTOTAL(9,)
