I use pivot table in excel to generate output something like below :

date >> sale >> purchase
01.03.2011 >> 25 >> 35
02.03.2011 >> 35 >> 15
05.03.2011 >> 17 >> 32

As you can see there is no data for 3rd and 4th so it omits it But I want them in output and value should be automatically blank or zero
like this
01.03.2011 >> 25 >> 35
02.03.2011 >> 35 >> 15
03.03.2011 >> 0 >> 0
04.03.2011 >> 0 >> 0
05.03.2011 >> 17 >> 32

Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.
Can you add those dates as dummy data entries ?

To make it easier, and avoid having to identify the empty dates, you could try just adding every date for your entire period.
