Blank Spaces in Excel 2003

Hello,

I am trying to figure out how to write a formula that will leave a cell blank if nothing is entered. I do not want it to show a 0 unless the cell entered is a 0.

In cell G16 - I am adding U46 and U58 together.

I do not have a problem when it is 1 cell - my formula works fine. When I have 2 cells added together, the formula does not work.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Perhaps this suits your need?

=IF(AND(U46="",U58=""),"",U46+U58)

Would I be able to use the same type of formula if I wanted to do the following?

In cell G17

add the following cells:

U73+U85+U97+U109+U121+U133

Yes, just add expressions separated by commas in the AND() function.

I would use COUNT:

=IF(COUNT(U73,U85,U97,U109,U121,U133)=6,U73+U85+U109+U121+U133,"")
