I have an text box in excel that is linked to a cell A4 on the same worksheet. Cell A4 says Top 6 of Rubbermaid brand, Rubbermaid is the Brand name and I would like it to be in bold font, it is also linked to a cell that has the list of Brands,

so cell A4 formula is = "Top 6 of "&A3&" brand"

How do I get the text box to keep the format of the cell? If this cannot be done in simple linking the text box to the cell, is it possible to do it in VBA code?

The name of the text box is Top6Brand

PLEASE HELP ME!

Lock one reference in a formula
Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying

The syntax in VBA would be

Sheets("Sheet1").TextBox1.Font.Bold = True

adjust sheetname and textbox name accordingly

The only way to do this is using VBA, and if you use that then you'll lose the formula.

Is that acceptable?
