Excel Facts

Back into an answer in Excel
Use Data, What-If Analysis, Goal Seek to find the correct input cell value to reach a desired result
Two that come to mind...

Integrating Excel and Access (Michael Schmalz), published by O'Reilly
Microsoft Excel and Access Integration With Office 2007 (Michael Alexander and Geoffrey Clarke), published by Wiley

And this book has a good chapter on using Excel for reporting on Access data...
Microsoft Access Data Analysis (Michael Alexander), published by Wiley.
