As opposed to the New keyword or the CreateObject function, the Shell command launches a new instance of excel along with any addins.

How can I avoid loading Addins when shelling excel ? The /s switch does prevent addins from loading but it also disables all Macros in excel 2007.

thanks.

Excel Facts

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand
Try using the /automation switch instead of the /s switch.

Code:
Shell Path & "\EXCEL.EXE /automation"
