Hello all,

Is there a way to only calc selected cells? This would speed up my spreadsheet.

Thanks

Mike

Excel Facts

Select all contiguous cells
Pressing Ctrl+* (asterisk) will select the "current region" - all contiguous cells in all directions.
Go to Tools|Options and Calculation Tab.

Select Manual in the calculation area.

If you are in a cell and hit enter it will calc that cell, if you hit F9, it will re-calc the whole sheet.

Also note that if you change a cell with dependencies outside of your range, those will also be calculated.
