Hi all,

I have a formula in a cell which references a range of cells from a column. It works fine.

I need to filter this column sometimes, and want the formula to be re-calculated only for the active cells.

Is this possible? Any help is greatly appreciated. It's kind of urgent.

Excel Facts

Copy a format multiple times
Select a formatted range. Double-click the Format Painter (left side of Home tab). You can paste formatting multiple times. Esc to stop
Since there's only one active cell on a worksheet at a time I guess you mean the visible cells.

Check the Subtotal() function.

Remark: it's easier if you post the formula, we'll be able to understand the problem better.
