How do I go about building a macro that runs 'calculate' manually say every 1 minute or so?

Thanks!

Excel Facts

How can you automate Excel?
Press Alt+F11 from Windows Excel to open the Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) editor.
Have a look at the OnTime method:

ie.

Code:
Sub RunMe()

Application.OnTime Now + TimeValue("00:01:00"), "CalcMe"

End Sub

Sub CalcMe()

Application.Calculate
Call RunMe

End Sub

Hope it helps

Thanks!! That code makes sense, but I keep getting an error saying the 'CalcMe' sub cannot be found. Do I have the code in the wrong place? I have it in the individual worksheet... Thanks :)

You'll need to put this in a module instead of a worksheet. If its the actual worksheet you want to recalculate then modify the code as:

Code:
Sub RunMe()

Application.OnTime Now + TimeValue("00:01:00"), "CalcMe"

End Sub

Sub CalcMe()

ThisWorkbook.Sheets("mySheet").Calculate
Call RunMe

End Sub
