Hi I have four quarters of data and need to show if there is a trend of sales growing or declinfing or remaining the same. How could I calculate that with a formula?

Data set below. Thank you

ProductQ1Q2Q3Q4
Chairs$319,912$158,531$120,657$112,916
Tables$125,032$140,048$139,959$143,805
Laptops$20,193$18,821$20,579$24,588

How do you define "trend"? Do you want to consider a linear regression trendline?

Assuming linear regression. Assuming "Product" is in cell A1. Assuming using Excel 365 (I'm not sure if this works in earlier versions) see formulas below.

I have included the "Same" case but the chances of this ever happening are so remote I will bet that you will not see it in 10 lifetimes.
