Dear All,

This is my first (and hopefully many more!) visit to the forum.

I am trying to construct a spreadsheet in Excel 2010 which automates a process of calculating the YTD for any given month; i.e. if my year starts with April 2011 and the month is June 2011 then the YTD should be for three months.

BUDGET MONTH
UPDATE
Jun-11 MTHLY

1 2 3 etc. YTD
Apr-11 May-11 Jun-11 Total
£ £ £ £

Salaries 100,000 150,000 200,000 450,000

Unfortunately I have been unable to provide the above table in a satisfactory format, but I hope you can see what I'm trying to convey.

Many thanks in advance.

Regards,
Nik.

How to create a cell-sized chart?
Tiny charts, called Sparklines, were added to Excel 2010. Look for Sparklines on the Insert tab.
