Hi,

I can't seem to work out a formula based on the following criteria:

Bonus pool is $100, and there are 3 tiers: Tier 1 has 3 employees who should get 125% of the bonus pool, Tier 2 has 2 employees who should get 100% of the bonus pool, and Tier 3 has 1 employee who should get 75%.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Excel Facts

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.
Do you mean Bonus Pool * 1.25 = $125 for the 3 employees, Bonus pool * 1 = $100 for the 2 employees, and Bonus Pool * .75 = $75 for the 1 employee. So $375 + $200 + $75 = $650.

Or did you mean that they each get a percentage of a total bonus pool of $100. If that is the case then your percentages will not work because there are too many people getting 125%.
