Hi I am trying to calculate a formula to count network days between a and b. If a is blank return blank. If a has a date and b does not use todays date for B. Can anyone help please?

Excel Facts

Bring active cell back into view
Start at A1 and select to A9999 while writing a formula, you can't see A1 anymore. Press Ctrl+Backspace to bring active cell into view.
Hi, welcome to the forum! If you a is A1 and your b is B1 - then you could try.

=IF(A1="","",NETWORKDAYS(A1,IF(B1="",TODAY(),B1)))

Solution
Perfect. Thank you so much, that is exactly what I needed. I had been going round and round this and not managed to get the calculation to work using today when the end date cell was blank
