calculating number of days in SharePoint

Help,

Trying to calculating the number of days between a date and today in SharePoint List. the normal way i am use to does not work.

get the error of: Calculated columns cannot contain volatile functions like Today and Me.

any help would be greatful.

Excel Facts

Return population for a City
If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.
