I can not get the calculation to round to the next hour once the minutes hit 60

Begin time
Tuesday, November 19, 2013 5:39 AM Tuesday,

End time
November 19, 2013 1:38 PM 5:39 AM 1:38 PM 7.98

Formula is =((RIGHT(A29,7)-RIGHT(B29,7))*24)

Returing Value
7.98

What did Pito Salas invent?
Pito Salas, working for Lotus, popularized what would become to be pivot tables. It was released as Lotus Improv in 1989.
It's better if you tell us the result you want rather than the unwanted result that your formula produces.

Does this do what you need?

=ROUNDUP((B29-A29)*24,0)

Bit confuse...
What are the values on cells A29 and B29?

A29 holds Tuesday, November 19, 2013 5:39 AM
B29 holds Tuesday, November 19, 2013 1:38 PM

For example the total time should be 7 hours .59 minutes. So a process started at 5:39am and ends at 1:38 pm if it was 1:39 pm then it would have taken 8 hours to process, because the process completed at 1:38 (1 minute shy) then it took 7.59 miutes to complete. My formula is saying it took 7.98 . thx guys.

If the cells are holding actual dates, maybe just =(B29-A29+0) and change the reporting cell's format to hh:mm

Hope that helps,
