hi everyone I am new to excell and donot know a thing can some tell me how i can make a 10 month calendar starting in sept. of one year ending in june of the following year

Yes! Use "0101011" for the weekend argument in NETWORKDAYS.INTL or WORKDAY.INTL. The 7 digits start on Monday. 1 means it is a weekend.

walt37, Welcome to Mr Excel. Excel has a bunch of different templates for calendars you can download . Press F1 for Help and search for "calendar"
