Call IP address return hostname

Hi all, Im finding it tricky to search the correct term to get what I am looking for.

Im using PING as the keyword when I think it should be different

I am trying to write a quick code to scan my local office by ip address to return the hostname

I have many IP addresses so would like to loop.

I know loops but can get the code part sorted for:

**This is not actual code but comms to state what I am trying to acheive**
Sub RunPing()
i = 6
While (ActiveSheet.Cells(i, 1) <> "")

with i

return hostname

i = i + 1

Sub ScanRange()

End Sub

Any ideas?

i want to pc to go and goto IPaddress thats in:
ActiveSheet.Cells(i, 1)
> Grab that IPAddress

Goto next Ipaddress
