Hi,

formulas are not updating automatically while saving even the excel option is selected as Automatic.

Please let me know do I need to press F9 each time or is there any other way to rectify the problem.

Thanks
Abdul

Last used cell?
Press Ctrl+End to move to what Excel thinks is the last used cell.
What is the version of Excel you are using?

Does your workbook contain external links or it has huge number of formulas?

I too have the same problem sometimes,

Try:

Go to Links dialog box (ALT+E+K) then see if any dead links exist, all your links a to a valid workbooks

Open all linked files and save

Try to optimize the formulas, if you have volatile functions like index, offset, and indirect etc, seek other alternatives,
