Can a Pivot Table Be Made From a Pivot Table?

I am new to pivot tables and Excel VBA, but have done a lot of VBA in Access.

In Excel 2010, It is possible to make a a pivot table from another pivot table?

For example, Tab 1 has the detail data, Tab 2 is a pivot table summary of Tab 1, and Tab 3 is a pivot table summary of what is in Tab 2.
