Can a VLOOKUP be used for...

I would like to know if a lookup table can be used for the following. I would like to create a statement (Sheet 2) from information that we input into Sheet 1. Sample below. Columns are A-O on sheet 1 and A-H on sheet 2.

Questions are:

If I input a rep code into G4 on sheet 2 can it then search all the rows in Sheet 1 for any row where Column M has the current month filled in and fill in the information from the corresponding rows into sheet 2. The information below matched the sheets I am using.

If not is there an easier way to create a statement with the information on Sheet 1?

But if you use VLOOKUP on PO# you won't be able to go left and get the Rep. You'd need INDEX/MATCH for that.

This worked great for pulling in the info I needed. Only 2 questions:

How do I get it to continue to look for other rows that may have that rep in them? When I tried to copy the formula down it just repeated the same row over & over.

Also as this is a statement I would like it to only pull in the information on the rows where M3 is the previous month. In other words if M3 was paid in September I want it to automatically pull all paid invoices for that rep for the previous month (the current date is set in D4)

As for how to filter records based on Rep ID I'd try Data-->Filter, as Vlookup's only going to return the first found reference.

The data filter works great on the Master Sheet (Sheet 1) but it doesnt help me pull the information into the Statement (Sheet 2) I am trying to create for each rep unless I am missing something. I would use copy & paste but I dont need all of the columns moved over from sheet 1 just certain ones and it also become cumbersome to do for 50 reps.

So is there any way to input a rep code and then look up an infinite number of rows and pull them into the 2nd sheet. I can then delete the ones I dont need. That would be easier.

You might want to think about using a Pivot Table. If you use REP ID as a filter you can use the Pivot Table report summary feature which will create an individual report for each # listed.
