I am trying to copy the results of a set of sheets into a new workbook.
When I so this for the first group of cells (about 8 rows by 5 columns) it works fine, then below it I want paste a set of cells exactly the same size. When I try this it says "The information cannot be pasted because the Copy area and the paste area are not the same size and shape". (Excel Mac 2011)
But they are the same size and shape, as the formatting has all been taken from the same source. How can I make it stop giving this error and just paste the stuff in I want anyway? Even if it auto-reformats the cells to fit stuff in.
All I want to do is paste special and put in the values on their own anyway, so it shouldn't make any difference.
Any thoughts?
