Can I use one macro in multiple computers simultaneously?

I have 13 areas that use the same macro that is currently saved in the workbook on the company drive. Every time I make a change to how the macro performs certain tasks I must change it on 13 separate computers. What I would like to do is save the macro in one place and access it with multiple computers – is this possible?

Excel Facts

Quick Sum
Select a range of cells. The total appears in bottom right of Excel screen. Right-click total to add Max, Min, Count, Average.
You can leave it in the workbook that is saved on the company drive, as long as the users access the WB FROM the company drive. Meaning they don't copy it to their machine.

Or you can create a workbook on the public drive, similar to the Personal Macro Workbook, and tell each user to make that a start up file.

Or you can create an add-in and store it on the public drive as long as it's accessed as mentioned above and not copied to each machine.

SaveAs xlam

But you'll also have to make a menu, since the normal macros window won't show macros from add-ins.

What version of excel are you using?
