SetOnlinkData allows you to run a macro whenever a DDE data is updated.

This function is very convenient but I could not find a way tp add paramaters to the macro which is triggered.

My code is:

Sub Auto_Open() {
SetOnLinkData("REUTERS|IN!USDJPY=", "UpdateChange")
}

Sub UpdateChange

Set cn as New adodb.Connection
....
with cn
cn.execute("exec MyUpdateProc")
EndSub

and I would like to run Sub

Auto_Open() {
SetOnLinkData("REUTERS|IN!USDJPY=", "UpdateChange('USDJPY')")
}

Sub UpdateChange(ByVal Curr as char)

Set cn as New adodb.Connection
....
with cn
cn.execute("exec MyUpdateProc")
EndSub

The compiler is telling me that the macro [UpdateChange('USDJPY')] does not exist.

Thanks for your help...Cecile
