Is there a way to make the information on my monthly sheet understand the date? I need it to save the information on the date of the month. EX: I enter in the information on St Readings 10/02/02 which sends it to Daily, then to monthly. Now I have 10/03/02 information to put in. Is there any way to make Monthly understand the date and information to show up on the right line?

I'm not sure I completely understand your issue but to be the month of a cell use:

=MONTH(A1)

Where A1 has your date
10/3/02

I read this differently,

On the monthly sheet you can use the SUMIF function to pickup dates that match a specific date.

Your daily database has a date field in column A, and a value in column B.

Your monthly sheet has a line for each date where date appears as column A also.

in Column B you can Enter

=SUMIF(Daily!A1:A50,A5,Daily!B1:B50)

This above eg will search through all lines in Daily row 1-50 for a date that matches the Monthly Cell A5 and sums all matching values from column B.
