Cannot add rows

Hi,

I get this message when i go to insert rows in the spreadsheet but i am able to add columns without any issues. I have never seen this issue before.

So far, I have only used 100 rows starting from row 12.

What do I need to do to be able to insert rows anywhere in the spreadsheet?

Hi there,

There's either something in the very last row of the sheet or there's "ghost data". See if these 7.1 steps help:

1. Ensure you're in the sheet that's producing the error message
2. Press F5 and from the Go To dialog click Special
3. From the Go To Special dialog click the Last cell radio button and then click OK
4. This will take you to the last cell in the sheet as Excel sees it
5. Remove the character or delete the entire row and save the workbook
6. Repeat steps two to three. You should now be on Row 112 and be able to insert rows
7. If not delete all rows from 112 to 1,048,576 and then save the workbook
   1. Repeat steps two to three. You should now be on Row 112 and be able to insert rows
