I had an excel workbook emailed to me. I saved it and tried working in it. The text will not show up in the cells. I can see it in the formula box, but in the cell it's not there. If I open a workbook I created everything is fine. What is set wrong for this to happen? Thanks

Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
yes, the color makes no differance. If I type, then click the color, it shows up. If I set it to auto, then type it not there.

Check a couple of other things:
right click on the tab and click view code - is there anything there?
Click on Format - Conditional Format - is there anything there?
does changing the font make any difference?
